From the President

Dear Chapter Members and Guests,

I am honored to be your Greater KC Chapter President for the 2023-2024 program year. I am thankful to serve with outstanding and dedicated board members from the HR community, including President-Elect Casey Campbell, Secretary Erika Colacicco, Treasurer Amber Vogan, Program Chair Kelly Postlewait, Members-At-Large and Leslie Herring, Cathy Carter, and Leslie Fortney. I would like to personally thank those who have served on the Board of Directors in the past. We truly appreciate your commitment to the Chapter and the legacy you have provided.

I hope you can enjoy the summer months and do something fun. We are in the process of planning for another great year with your fellow HR professionals in the Greater KC area. You will not want to miss any of this year's monthly programs. Our focus is to provide engaging speakers and topics that not only enhance each members professional knowledge but assist you in creating engaging workplaces. Additionally, the Board will be embarking on updating the Chapters name and branding with recent update to National rebranding to PSHRA, Public Sector Human Resources Association.

There are many reasons to join PSHRA Greater KC Chapter. PSHRA offers a tremendous opportunity to network with your HR peers from other jurisdictions. You will also have opportunities to gain knowledge from experts in the field of HR as well as attend local, and national training conferences.
